Theatre translation, wordplay translation, translation and memetics, adaptation and ideology
Research and professional accomplishments: Fabio Regattin works as a freelance translator and as an editor for Inter Logos, Modena. He edited the Italian edition of Survivre ou la mémoire blanche, by the Belgian playwright Adolphe Nysenholc (Sopravvivere o la memoria in bianco, Bologna, CLUEB, 2007). He collaborates as an abstractor to TSA (Translations Studies Abstracts) and BTS (Bibliography of Translation Studies), St. Jerome Publishing. He took part in various conferences and has published some articles on wordplay translation, theatre translation, and the translation of culture-bound terms.
