Articles
Please
submit a paper copy (together with a digital
one, i.e. cd-rom or floppy-disk) or email
your proposal to the Editorial Board. The
texts shall be MS Word-compatible (in case
a different word-processor is employed, the
text shall be saved in a compatible format)
and shall be about 30.000 characters long
(spaces and notes included).
>
Articles are accepted in any of the following
languages of the European Union: French, German,
English, Italian and Spanish. Every article
shall be accompanied by two abstracts in English
and French, each one not exceeding 750 characters
(spaces included), together with the translation
of the title in these two languages.
>
Four or five keywords shall be submitted to
the Editorial Board together with every article.
>
A short resume of not more than 200 characters
shall be attached to the article in either
English, French or Italian. The affiliation
which authors wishes to have under their names
shall be indicated at the end of the article,
in brackets, next to the name of the author
(family name first).
Body
of the article
All
articles shall be typed, single-spaced, on
standard A4 pages. Pleae use 2,5 cm margins
all round. Use Times New Roman font, 12 pt.
type. Apply justification and 1,25 cm. indentation
for first lines.
Titles and eventual subtitles shall be numbered
serially, without any variation in type font.
Footnotes, parenthetical reference system
and bibliographies
>
Footnotes shall be used to add some information
or personal comments. Footnotes shall be single-spaced,
in Times New Roman font, 10 pt. type.
> Please number footnotes serially throughout
the article, not page by page. Parenthetical
references shall be included in the body of
the text, at the end of a quotation, in brackets.
In this last case, please indicate author,
date, volume (if there are several) and page
number, referring to a bibliography placed
at the end of the article.
Ex. «Le tableau, quiconque l’écrit,
il n’existe que dans le récit
que j’en donne» (Barthes 1969:
p. 140).

Quotations
When
quoting, any omission of text, as well as
any modification or explanation made by the
authors within the quotations, should be marked
by three dots inside square brackets, […].
> Quotations should be reported between
French inverted commas «…»
(without any blank space: ex. «…»,
not « … ») within the text,
using the same type font. Longer quotations,
i.e. exceeding three lines, shall not be put
between quotations marks, but typed in single-spaced,
10 pt. type. The body of the quotation shall
be indented right and left by 1 cm., without
any further indentation for the first line.
A line above and below the body of the quotations
shall be left blank.
> When necessary to introduce a quotation
within another quotation (or a word between
inverted commas), use the French inverted
commas at the beginning and the end of the
main quotation and the double inverted commas
for the inner quotation.
> All quotations taken from books or articles
should be in their original language. In case
the original-language edition was not available,
the bibliographical reference shall indicate
original title, date of the first edition
and name of the translator.
Non-breaking
space
The
non-breaking space which in French comes before
the following punctuation signs (: : ; ! ?)
shall be eliminated. Those same punctuation
signs shall instead be followed by a normal
blank space. Non breaking spaces (CTRL+SHIFT+SPACE)
shall separate “n°” and “p.”
from the numbers following.
Accented
capital letters
Capital letters shall be accented as if they
were small letters: Ä Ç É
Ö Ü Ã Õ Â Á
Ë È, etc.
